Autumn Winter 17: Made in England Outerwear Collection
This season, we are proud to announce that we have expanded our Made in England collection to include an authentic range of jackets and trousers, inspired by the IWM archives.
Made exclusively in Blackburn by one of the UK’s longest serving clothing manufacturers – a factory who started in 1860 and made specialist battle-dress for the British Army during both World Wars – the range offers modern fits with strong historical links.
Our regular-fit NVA jacket is inspired by a North Vietnam Army utility shirt featuring buttoned chest pockets, large hand pockets and stitched with secure felled seams. Our characteristic cross-over back yoke design is a signature R&E detail we observed on original WW1 archive uniform.
Keep a lookout for the marvellous three-button pocket detail on our USMC Marine Jacket – an authentic feature, concealing two extra-large, additional chest pockets!
Taking influence from the pocket detail of an original P44 and the oversized block of an M65 pant, our USMC Utility Pant can be worn oversized and features metal-buckle webbed side adjusters for easy fit.
True to the brand’s ethos of engineering garments that are built to last and age with character, each garment is made from a sanded, heavy cotton twill and garment-washed for a robust vintage aesthetic. Available in wearable Olive and Navy colourways, wear the pant with either new jacket to form a casual suit.
The new additions compliment and expand on our existing Made in England range of 100% wool knitwear made exclusively for us in Leicestershire. Highlights include an original-spec Submariner Roll Neck, chunky rib scarves and our signature Commando Beanie hats, available in both British and Merino wool.
