How To Dress For Spring | Menswear SS17
Winter dressing is great. It allows us to layer up all of our favourite pieces and go mad with our love of the colour navy. However, mastering the winter dress code doesn't have to mean that you should avoid adding a spring in to your wardrobe during the warmer months. Here's a few of our tips for building a super simple, transitional wardrobe that will take you from the office to the beer garden...
The Track Jacket
Along with the athleisure trend, the casual bomber remains a key look for the new season. Based on a classic bomber silhouette, our jersey sweater
is crafted from a soft-touch loop-back jersey. An adaptable jacket to combat the every-changing weather features include a deep rib welt waistline, a high neck collar, large hand-pockets with additional side openings and our signature gunmetal buttons.
The White Tee
A simple, white t-shirt is a staple item in any man’s spring wardrobe. It instantly freshens up your look. This season, seek out a plain white three-button grandad tee from our archive sale or take things up a notch with one of our new spring summer 17 offerings featuring a cracking plastisol print design, which is designed to crack during wash and wear to create a vintage worn aesthetic – a technique inspired by the hand-painted insignia found on original WW2 airborne attire!
The New Stripe
A stripe tee is pretty much a basic element to a capsule summer wardrobe but this season we have shook things up a little, with our contemporary, linear radio wave design
as part of our SS17 Decoded collection, inspired by Second World War Intelligence Services. Or if you prefer a classic stripe, take a look at our time-honoured collection here.
The Chunky Knit
Realistically, if you live in the UK, we're going to see approximately ten days of actual sunshine and the rest of the summer whilst be spent in a hazy grey fog. As such, invest in a chunky knit to brush off that evening chill. Our new knitted crew neck
is crafted from a chunky merino wool rib, with full fashioned sleeves and contrast colour-block elbow detail. Or if you're on a budget, head to our archive
