Life Time opens first fitness club in Brooklyn – New York Business Journal – The Business Journals

Life Time has just opened its first fitness club in Brooklyn.
Life Time Dumbo occupies a 77,000-square-foot-space located at 168 Front St.
Some highlights of the club include:
Life Time Dumbo will be open Monday through Friday from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m.
This will be Life Time’s sixth location in New York City. Life Time Midtown, located at 128 W. 57th St., is also expected to open this year.
“The debut of Life Time in Brooklyn is a big step as we continue our strategic expansion throughout New York City,” said Ryan Brister, Life Time’s vice president of club operations. “We’re seeing strong demand and engagement which reinforces the need for our all-encompassing athletic country club experience. One prime example is families and kids — they represent a larger percentage here in the Dumbo area than other parts of the city, and our phenomenal Life Time Kids and aquatics programming has been missing for them.”
Life Time (NYSE: LTH) could eventually have 20 clubs in Manhattan, Parham Javaheri, the fitness company’s chief development officer, told the New York Business Journal.
